    It was sold out by the time I knew he was playing. Was it any good? I'd have loved to have been there.

    kimnjess, it was incredible. Though there was something tragic about it, looking at the man who is an absolute blues legend, in the state he is in now, was quite sad. He had to be literally walked onto the stage, there were some great moments wwhere he just seemed to light up though. Overall, it was a very relaxed gig, it was more along the lines of BB King kind of stuff, as opposed to a 30 minute rendition of rattlesnake shake or green manalishi, so i was a bit disapointed there. that said though, it was incedible!

    I'd a feeling it would be a layed back gig. I had a look at some footage on youtube for gigs he's done this year and that's the way it looked. I'm still pissed off I missed it, I went in to see if I could pick up a ticket on the night but there were not many available. I missed out on a couple, a tout got to a guy before I did and bought 2 tickets off him for face value, when I went to the tout he wanted 150 quid per ticket :mad: robbing bast*rds!
    Anyway, thanks for the review :)
