I'm currently swimming like an aircraft that has crash landed and would like some help. What I'm really after is someone to come and have a look at me swimming and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I'm in Cork and swim at the Mayfield Leisure Centre. If anyone can help just drop me a PM - thanks! biggrin.gif

you're best bet is to check the net like iws.ie for lessons in your area, if you're insecure about it you can get into adult learning classes.. there are alot of people out there who cant swim..
I used to swim nearly everyday for years and havent got the right strokes perfected.. breathing is very important to learn properly as you'l last longer because you'l be getting regular oxygen and be more stream lined. front crawl:
thumb in first with fingers in line, and breath every even stroke 2, 4...while kicking knees straight
    a teacher'l show you everything

hope you get there, keep it up, class sport
