Ok so Im getting braces (only on my lower arch), because Ive some serious overcrowding going on. Im also getting two teeth taken out.
Ive my appointment and everything booked-only problem is Ive just discovered Ive a presentation to give the next day.
Some people are telling me Ill be fine, others are saying theres no way ill be aboe to confidently give it because it'll probably hurt for a bit and Ill talk funny for the first few days.

Opinions on whether Ill be able to do it or not?

    Thanks

I guess it depends how important the presentation is. Don't ask us cyberspace people. Call the orthodontist and mention your concerns. With adequate notice it should be easy to reschedule appts and keep everybody happy.

Asking here as my ortho is a nightmare to get in touch with-work across four different practices and the reception staff are, well,... lets leave that one open-ended.

Not possible to reschedule which is why Im a little concerned-would have to find someone else to do it on short notice so would like to avoid that if possible. Never known anyone with braces so cant ask their experiences.

Better safe than spitting on people I guess! :)
