    Shoot me now please :(

My external display in work died today and the replacement I was given is a Dell E173FPc. On this page it says the connector type is a 15-pin D-subminiature blue connector. I have a unibody MacBook with a mini display port.

I understand that I need this adapter to connect the two, but my problem is can I get some kind of seconday cable that will extend the length of the whole thing so I can use both screens at once?

Will that cable even work at all? Halp me pls :o

Just get the adapter and a VGA cable, that's all you need.

And yes you can use both screens at once.

I think that's what you're on about, you question is kind of confusing!
