    Hi Boardsie's

Hopefully this is going in the correct forum. I have a Vista Laptop, running 02 Broadband and Norton 360.

I can connect to my Eircom Broadband via Wireless, however my O2 Broadband comes up with Limited or No Connectivity, even though I have the 02 Dial Up in Trusted section of the Norton 360 Firewall settings.

Is there anything I am missing. I have unchecked TCP/IP V6 also.

    Please Help!
    Danno.

I also forgot to add that I've tried out the O2 on another PC and it is fine. Have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the O2 on the laptop twice, but still nothing.

First thing i'd do is get rid of Norton, i use Avast, www.avast.com , it's free and never had ANY issues in 2yrs of use

I will get rid of norton, as soon as my remaining 100+ days of paid subscription have expired! :P Thanks though for the pointer! :D

Windows Network Diagnostics - Cannot Communicate with DNS Server (62.40.32.33) - Network Diagnostics pinged the remote host but did not recieve a response.

Windows found a problem that cannot be repaired Automatically.

    Any ideas???

Tried "netsh int ip reset" in Admin Command Prompt, rebooted, still not fixed. :(

Sorry can't help with that, but when i bought a new laptop it came with 100 days free Norton, it was taken off within minutes, IMO it causes way more problems than it solves. They couldn't pay me to have it, well, maybe a couple of grand :D

Vista Laptop - O2 Broadband (E270) - Limited or No Connectivity. (The O2 Broadband will work fine on my Vista PC)

The Laptop will connect to my Eircom BB via Wireless.

I have done the following on the laptop... and still no change...

Have tried uninstalling and re-installing O2 twice.
    Ran "netsh int ip reset"
    Ran "netsh winsock reset"
    Ran "Microsoft Fix it 50203"
Checked for Malware - Using Malwarebytes AntiMalware - none found

The error message I get is...

Windows Network Diagnostics - Cannot Communicate with DNS Server (62.40.32.33) - Network Diagnostics pinged the remote host but did not recieve a response.

Windows found a problem that cannot be repaired Automatically.

I nearly would have been quicker to format and reload by this stage. :(
