How do you know you have public lice

    Hi,

How do you know you have public lice? Like what exactly should I see if I have them. I have looked online and the pics are all zoomed in so I cant see what I should actually see with the naked eye.

I am really itchy in the groin area and I have a rash. I have had the rash for years but lately it is getting a bit worse and the itching has increased. I cant see any bugs or anything in the pubic hair. How big would they be, should I be able to see them?

I do have a lot of what looks like skin flakes but Im pretty sure they are skin flakes, tiny ones, white, skin colour. I think they are skin flakes because one they don’t move, two they are different sizes and shapes, no legs or anything and three my skin peals a bit where the rash is. But I was looking the other day and started to think, what if they are lice. I have pulled loads of the skin flake out and looked at them, they dont look like creatures.

So basiclly what Im asking is what would they look like and should I be worried?

    Thanks for any help

I'm afraid we cannot give medical advice on this site, you will need to go to your GP.
