Medical card question

How can I find out if someone has a medical card? The reason I ask is i'm paying child maintenance and as part of it I also pay half my childs medical bills. Since this agreement was made my ex has lost her job and is claiming job seekers alowence or something similar. I still pay half my childs medical bills but i'm thinking if she's claiming something from the government would she not have/be entitled to a medical card?

I have no idea at all, but I'm thinking that the Dept. of Health would either know or have the list/database themselves. However, I'm questioning whether or not they'd tell you if someone else has a card.

just ask her for the doctors receipts. tell her its for tax or something.

they'll say whether she's paying herself or not.

if she hasnt got one i would suggest you advise her to get one as she's not only needlessly costing you but also herself.

You probally wouldnt be able to find out so i think the receipts^^^^ r a good idea. catch her out.

id say she would be intitled to one anyway.
