    Interesting idea. Don't know if they would fit. The axle slots look a bit narrow for a road bike but it's hard to say. I've no idea if a BMX axle is thinner. My frame has chrome round the dropouts, which I hope to mask before getting painted. Did you get your frame done in Tallaght Powder Coating ?
    Did you strip it yourself or get them to do it ?
    Were you able to leve the Headset Bearing cups in place and mask them ?
    Any other tips on prep for Powder coating ?

    These wouldn't fit your frame - which I assume has forward facing dropouts. If you get some good-quality track nuts, with integrated washers, they shouldn't mar the dropouts too much. Even if they did - are you going to be looking that closely?

    where can i get good track nuts???how much???

    tallaght powder coating stripped the frame and i left the cups in and they taped it all it.€80 for single color
