    In the name of fook!

    2006 Peugeot 407 Coupe 2.7 V6 HDi GT Auto - 226 g/km - OMSP €24960
    VRT Payable - €8985
Cost to buy before VRT ~ £10k
Irish equivalent price (from Carzone) ~ €17k

    2006 Peugeot 407 Coupe 2.2 SE - 215 g/km - OMSP €12570
    VRT Payable - €4022
Cost to buy before VRT ~ £9k
Irish equivalent price (from Carzone) ~ €16k (and some loon of a dealer looking for €27k!)

Well done Revenue, thinking the same car in a different engine and similar spec is worth twice the price...

Any idea how successful a VRT appeal would be looking at those figures? I realise one would have to pay the €9K first, and then appeal.
