Pens or Chickens?

Someone brought this up in work. What do you think there are more of in the world? Pens or Chickens? I'm inclined to think pens, but even I go through an awful lot of chickens...

i've went through maybe 20 pens in the last 4 years.. never really buy them and use the same ones in work all the time. but i've prob eaten hundreds of chickens in the last 4 years. add to that the fact that half the world can't afford pens.

yes, but i worked with a woman once that eat about 20% of them daily.

Theres vegetarians to consider,they use pens but don't eat chickens.
Chickens get eaten alot by us Irish, but almost every single person needs a pen at some stage of the week, where as chickens might not come into play for a long time if we've been having beef or pork...

I've lost loads of pens over the years, never lost a chicken.

If all the pens down the sides of the couches around the world are counted, I'd say there's more pens. Probably not that many couches with chickens down the sides of them
