    Try Mullaghanish.

Its probably Southeast of you from Waterville. Same direction as the big old vertical Band III VHF aerials point.

    Mullaghanish DTT UHF channels
    Ch centre frequency
    21 (474MHz)
    24 (498MHz)
    25 (506MHz)
    28 (530MHz)

    MtM

Mullaganish is 76 degrees (true) from Waterville so it's ENE or if North is twelve o'clock it's half two.

    you are right coylemj.
I forgot how far north Mullaghanish is relative to Waterville

Depending on where the op is located in the Waterville area, it could be close to Due east. or eastnortheast as you say.

    MtM

Its Ch 21 (474MHz) which is active with the RTE MUX. There are no transmissions on the other 3 channels as of now.

THe OP should see can they get reception of TV3 analogue from Mullaghanish on Ch 27 (519.25MHz ) as a reception indicator . If nothing, theres no point in trying for DTT
