Are Ulster Unionists better off in a United Ireland or are Nationalists/Republicans better off remaining in Northern Ireland?

I doubt either side would vote to join a country on the verge of bankruptcy.

Better off remaining in Northern Ireland than what? Moving to the republic?

OP, I suggest re-starting this topic in a way that gives birth to an actual discussion. In other words, while you don't have to add your own views, you might see something a little better than awful by doing so. Or include some of the advantages and disadvantages or something that offers something for people to discuss.

Quality control has visited this thread, weighed it, measured it and found it to be wanting but included suggestions. I'm going to be generous to posts subsequent to the first and assume that the bilateral bewilderment isn't feigned. On the other hand, if you're just jaded, just don't reply.
