    Hollow

noun: a cavity or space in something

verb: remove the inner part or the core of

adjective: not solid; having a space or gap or cavity

I know what you guys are saying but I think you could describe it as hollow.

    It's not hollow, it's a ring.

Would you classify a ring as being hollow?!

what about a jam donut without the jam? mmmm i want a ring donut now. and also a jam donut!! if only they could invent a machine that put jam in ring donuts!!!

The cavity is not in the structure of the Bagel though. To be "hollow", the cavity must be contrained within the structure itself....as in, completely surrounding the "hollow", otherwise....you have a hole.

If you consider bread to be hollow then yes it can. The air pockets in the breads could be considered hollows. As the structure of bread happens to have air though in real terms it can't be considered hollow. The hole in a bagel does not make it hollow though.

I've always seen them as a hole partially encased in Jew bread, whereas fully enclosed, like a tennis ball, it would be more of a trapped cavity.

Bagels are sh1t, therefore holey sh1t, and not hollow.

The hollow bagel is not a myth. There appears to be one shop in Preston,Texas which sells hollow bagels.

You can heat them up and have sex with them.
    So not hollow.

    We are the hollow bagels
    we are the stuffed bagels
    been eaten together
    mainpiece filled with ham.Alas
    our sun-dried tomatoes,when
    mixed with green peppers
    are trite and meaningless
    as marge on dry toast
    in our dry larder
