How about any of the stops past sandyford?

Is there some difficult terrain there or typical irish stupidity and curruption?

The answer is in the post above.

Construction is and has been ongoing - the LUAS will go beyond Sandyford next year, serving all stops to Cherrywood in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

Went for a stroll on this extension a few weeks ago - starting at Cherrywood and literally walked on the railtracks back to Brennanstown/Carrickmines. Was amazed to see a fullly finished Luas station at Lehaunstown, complete with platform, signs etc. Looked almost surreal, especially given its location in the open countryside! Not even sure how the travelling public will get to it but it looks like an entrance is being created leading up to Brennanstown Road, Cabinteely.
