    You might want to check out the TSR forums. There should be plenty of people who can help. It's focused on studying in the UK.

    I haven't attend the university, but have them listed as a backup on my PGCE application. I've received mixed reviews about the university. It seems to depend on the course you're doing.

    Thanks kabuk1. I would concur that I've heard mixed reviews, I just don't think unsubstantiated remarks like the one I commented on help the OP any in making a decision just now.

    OP as kabuk1 said, TSR is a great resource and got me through college! Well worth a peek.

    It does depend on the course; some good, some bad, some ugly. I wouldn't be a huge fan of the place simply because it's in Strafford and you might as well be a cast member on East Enders!;) Again, whatever suits you op, but check your options thoroughly and give TSR a good look it's an excellent resource.
