A lot of the office centers can take an image file from a USB pen drive and print it out for you off them.

Give the edges an extra seal or you'll have to replace it regularly.

did you go to a printers or the high street office supplies shop

A high street office supplies shop here in Kilkenny City can print out at A3 (up to A0) size from a memory stick and have it laminated . I haven't had any done yet so I can't say what the price is.

    what size are they?
If theyre only a4, there does be a laminator in lidl for 12.99 and a few plastic covers with it. Youd have a lot of signs for 20quid.

The signs have to be 40cm x 60cm minimum, I think

Try this company, we got signs for the club done by them a few years back and they were fairly reasonable.

    Seems like a rip-off.

Do you know anybody in your local school?

Most schools have A3 photocopier & laminator equipment that does A3 size ......they may do it for you and you could make a donation to their fundraising efforts...plus you'd be keeping the money in the area & benefiting local kids......plus it would be a lot cheaper!

just a small local print shop does most printing be it a 1000 posters or one poster,
didnt have it on a usb just told him about my friend clives post on boards, he reckoned the more i get done the cheaper it would be,

collect it tommorrow, ill let you now, if my lad has it on his computer and its cheaper than any of your lads ill get it and post it or meet ya s sum where,

Actually guys it's nearer to A2 (420 x 594 mm), A3 is only about half that at 297 x 420 mm. Normal printers usually only do up to A3, for A2 you'll need a plotter (printer) like those used in an engineer or architect's office (are you friendly with any engineers/architects?). However that would still leave you with the problem of laminating an A2 sheet.

I presume you'll have to attach the sign to a sheet of timber for support? Could you split the image in two, print and laminate two A3s and then rejoin them by attaching them to the timber?

The warnng sign must be displayed at the gate to where your going to shoot. Tie it to the gate with string that will do. A couple of holes through the signage.
