Hi Guys,

I am looking for ideas on the following:
The scenario is one person would be working on a spreadsheet, entering data and there would be a second person using the same workbook in the spreadsheet, but can't be allowed to amend the data that was entered by the other the person but can enter data on the same work book, can this be securely done ? or can another application be used ?

Google Spreadsheets will give you collaboration and per-sheet edit protection:

Depending on the nature of the data and what you want to do with it, a Database Management System (DBMS) might be more appropriate?
