    Hi,

Anyone replace the glass on a fish tank? I've a 240 ltr Jewel Rio with a cracked front panel complements of a €1 cup which survived the impact intact (..grr!!)

Fish, etc are now housed in a temp tank, but I would like some advice.

Getting a new tank will cost a few quid.

I'm sure I can replace the panel but what type of glass should I use?
I assume the glass should be smooth edged?

    What silicone to use?

    Thanks
