You know, *this* was the show that hipped me to ABC Family. I used to watch the (now defunct) Trouble channel in the UK. Mysterious boy with no belly button wanders alone in the woods with no memory of who he is.....from there we get to meet the wonderful Trager family.

The pilot was soo heart warming, funny and moving i became a fan there and then. The whole family from Josh to Laurie to the wonderful Marguritte McEntire made for a really well written Sc-Fi drama with a heart.

It had alot of classic Sci-Fi setups, evil organisation with questionable motives, a boy with no memory and losts of backstory to explore. Then you had Tom Foss...was he friend or foe?, over time we found out friend, but it took quite awhile to figure him out.

Adam Baylin, the mysterious genius and "father" of Kyle, then season 2 introduced Kyle's sister, Jessie XX played very well by Jaimie Alexander, she got ripped from her pod and never enjoyed the love and naturing Kyle received.

She was considered flawed, an experiment gone wrong and in many ways was dangerous and psychologically screwed up, but Kyle and the Tragers saved her.

But sadly mid season in series 3 the plug got pulled fans outraged...the story just left hanging on a massive cliffhanger. This show has built a large and devoted fanbase abd remains one of the most popular show ABC Family produced.

You may have seen it, if not i'd recomend at the very least watching season one. You won't find a better Sci-Fi show all the family can watch :-)

I watched some of it when it started, but it didn't grab me at all.
Matt Dallas got on my nerves too. I know he was only playing a character, but he was so dopey and gormless it got old real fast.

Watched most of the first season and it never grabbed me either!

In the first few eps. he was dopey and gormless....it was a plot point, he had no clue about anything, even basic things like eating, him sleeping in a bath tub etc., by the end of series one he got to learn how to be "human", his character evolved :-)

Gave it a fair shot by watching all of season 1...could have continued on to season 2 as I was playing catch up with season 1 but the show wasn't good. It was boring, predictable, weakly written and really had little to nothing going for it. It's a classic "bad" cable show.

I enjoyed parts of the first season when the whole fiction/mystery element was stronger but there was a bit too much teen angst crap mixed in to really get into it. By the time the second season started, it had become another craptacular teen soap opera and I gave up watching it altogether...

I like this show. I think it is well written and acted. I like his relationship with the girl next door, and I like his new family. It's good to see Nicholas Lee (Alex Krycek from the X Files) back on screen.

It's a hard show to keep track of as it is bounced round the schedule a bit back it seems to have been given a Saturday slot on BBC. On Living his sister had turned up but haven't seen her so far on the Beeb.

I wish when a show is cancelled that they make an effort to wrap it up properly for the fans rather than leave a big cliffhanger that we know will never be answered. But I am aware that would be to much to ask.
