Ha ha i have to laugh at myself sometimes i'm such a sucker for advertising and all things shiney.Take for example the limited edition or prestige edition of the up and coming infinity ward monster, Modern warfare 2. As soon as i heard about it i absolutley without a doubt had to have it.So i went down to my local gamestop at 8.30 in the morning expecting a line of like minded gamers standing in the cold but no,no one not a soul. Please bear in mind i am 33, a far way away from 16 and yet it still gets me everytime, the hype machine i mean, i hear something online about a game that i think i would like and bang i cant get enough of it,every lunch break, sitting watching t.v with the missus i'll have the laptop in front of me scowering all websites for any available info until i can't quite bear it anymore and of course straight down to my local gamestop on release day to part with my hard earned 60 quid,or in the case of the prestige edition 150 quid.I mean do i really need NVG really do I? The answer is of course no i don't but i still can't wait to get them. And if the missus finds out i spent 150 quid on them i might actually need them to find my balls in the back garden.

I don't get THAT excited about games anymore but I was REALLY looking forward to MW2! But I'm not anymore... I won't even buy it second hand in protest.

Have to admit though, a working pair of NVGs with a game is pretty damn cool.
