    I know main dealer bashing goes on a lot here but I found this particularly repulsive

    Garrett Turbo from Audi Main Dealer €1195 ex VAT

    Garrett Turbo from Assured Performance €620 ex VAT

    The thing is Assured Performance supply Garrett turbo's to the Main Dealer. That is a pretty disgusting mark-up to be honest, all this BS lately about their new price lists etc when people cant afford to buy new cars they will rob you some other way ie fixing the car you have.

    Ah but the turbo supplied by the main dealer will come in an Audi box. That has to be worth €575 + VAT of anyones money

    TBH no, they had it in stock in Dublin so I just bought it straight away, car has been off the road for nearly a month now because I had to change the flywheel and clutch too. Just a disaster that they happened at the same time, turbo went because the oil supposed to last 20,000 miles only lasted 14,000 miles and guess who put the oil in the car - An Audi Dealer.

    P.S. Looked up the price from Garretts UK distributor £766 inc VAT.

    Assured Performance do not supply the main dealer with turbos, VW/Audi dealers are supplied their turbos by VW Audi if a main dealer is caught fitting non genuine parts and selling them as genuine parts(even if they are the same part) they will be in serious trouble.
