:D This is my 3pm gem on RTE One (and sometimes on TV3). So funny, and spooky. Those people live where pigs, spiders, rats, mouses and bacteria will feel at home. Some even won't bother of the among of rubbish they have accumulated trough the years. Dust covering furnitures like snow in a winter day in Russia, spiders web in which Spiderman himself won't dream about, accumulating of rubbish of all genre, cans, empty cans, old take-away food, and poo...all over the place, 5 weeks old milk in the fridge, sour milk and cheese in the making, toilets seat so bad, that the famous scene in "Trainspotting" sounds like a Disney movie, a real zoo for bacteria ! Some people, and sadly even families, do not have a clue of what or where they are living in.

This is a real great show : funny, entertaining and useful. Commentaries are just brilliant, music, with a horror theme, is just perfect, 250px-How_Clean_is_Your_House.jpgand reactions of the filth detectives, Kim and Aggie, are patient, concerned, efficient, humoristic.. Kim in particular has the courage to smell and snif all this sh..t ! ;)

A brilliant show from A to Finish !

I hate this show more than I hate cancer.

I think this show has surprising moments of erotic tenderness, mixed with honest and genuine compassion, but also interspersed with terrifying violence and savage, base hatred. It reveals a lot about the human condition. I sometimes think this programme teaches us a lot about who we are, but also who we are not.

Nope - it's freak-show television, see also Britain's Got Talent, Big Brother, Come Dine with Me, Dragon's Den...

Ah Dragon's Den is alright... agree about the rest though.
Channel 4 (which this originates/airs on) is in fact almost wall-to-wall "reality" shows after 8pm these days.

Probably explains why I don't watch much Channel 4 :p
