I'm sure they'll try and pass off the problems with the network to cut backs or some shite, but there really is no need for it.

That's two days in a row I've had now where I've had a four hour break where I could be getting work done on my final year project but wasn't able to because of the network. Those two days in a row are just two of many of the same problem. It's pathetic.

No, its because the technicians are lazy! I also asked them to fix another unrelated issiue with my account a while ago and still waiting..

only problem for me is range. For some reason only certain floors and sectors have it. I dunno if it's due to interference in some of the rooms. For example there is never any issue getting it in the snackery. In fact i get a steady 12Mb rate in there the last time i checked. (Obviously fluxes due to traffic). Other labs won't find the network unless i've already connected to it before i go in. One of the other lads beside me got it easy where i had to refresh about 50 times before my wireless picked it up. I think it's due to how good your card/antenna is.

Well i'm glad i'm not the only one, tried for ages to connect to either DITLAN or DITWIFI and couldn't connect. It's shockingly bad.
