Gerry Ryan this morning !

Anyone hear the Gerry Ryan show this morning! Woman on the N4 was harrassed by 2 people in a 96 Green Seat Ibiza who obviously thought she cut them up ! She nearly crashed as the car the passanger was swinging a bolt and chain at her when it came alongside ! Sounded like something from a Mad Max film !

Years ago (About 25 years ago), my Mother was rammed while driving down the South Mall in Cork City. Proper job too, they hit her rear a few times, then drove alongside her and tried to push her into a line of parked cars. There are some special people out there!

I've experienced quite a few cases of road rage, but nothing quite like that...

I remember a few years ago, me oul fella got into a bit of a hand gesturing competition - he pulled out of a junction, with plenty of space between him and the car coming down the road. However the other car didnt think so, and started flashing his lights and overtook us. The oul boy decided to give him the one fingered salute as he went by...

The driver of the other car didnt take kindly to this, and pulled up in the middle of a busy national road, blocking our path.

What he didnt realise was I was in the car too, so when I jumped out, both of us stepped out of the car too. I've never seen anyone retreat as quickly back to the car...:D

We reported it to the Gardai, but I dont think anything came of it.

I've also had the usual flash the headlights/one finger salute gestures/etc etc. Most seem to happen on the N4 for some reason?

A chain? Good idea that. I think I might start carrying a chain. Those BMW drivers are a bunch of irritated wan kers, sounding the horn and flashing the lights. They're even worse than the SUV drivers.

A woman cut me up on a roundabout recently. I got a little hot under the collar and pulled along side her at the junction to shout at her. Before I got a word out the passenger flung a full mcdonalds cup into my car. I calmy stepped out of my car, screwdriver in hand, stuck it straight through her front wing of her 08 rexton monstrosity and got back in my car and drove off

Well she damaged my whole interior sat nav and ipod with her drink when i tried to confront her for almost crashing into me so I think its justified
