    Hi,

I don't know if I can post this here. If not, please move it.

Over the past few weeks my two daugthers have set up a webiste and designed leaflets to promote awareness of Allergies and Anaphylaxis. Between them they designed two leaflets and the older one created a Powerpoint Presentation.
One of them has a servere allergy to nuts, peaches and apples. She has given a talk on Allergies to her school mates in primary school and also to her sisters class.

They managed to secure funding for the printing of the brochures. I am putting the website information below. The website has the leaflets and Powerpoint Presentation which can be downloaded.

There names have been put forward for a prize in a competition been held in a few weeks.

I would welcome your feedback on the leaflets etc

I work in ED and I have to say I am very impressed with this website and the information on it - it gives very clear, factual medical information with minimum medical terminology and I strongly believe this will help people not familiar with allergic reactions (which do kill if not treated) information on what to do if someone does have a reaction.

Fair play for setting this up and thanks for the link here!

Whoa! You got awesome daughters! Fantastic work indeed!

It is good that your daughters are helping to spread awareness regarding anaphylaxis, it is a serious matter and kids should be informed.

    Cheers!

    Well Done!

I am coming close to the end wasp venom desensitisation treatment after 3 and a half years. I'll always have to carry my anapens but it looks like the treatment has removed the serious threat of an anaphylactic shock.

But well done on the leaflet! Good simple strong message!

    Keep up the good work!

Fantastic work, well done to your girls. I was at the stand at the Allergy Fair last weekend and took some leaflets home to pass on. My own daughter has a nut allergy and has had 2 serious anaphylactic episodes and carries her anapens everywhere. All her friends and teachers are so aware of her condition but I will drop some of the posters and leaflets to the school. Congrats again on a job well done!
