Grant cheque not in...

    Hi all,

    Doing my second year of a two year masters. I successfully applied for the grant last year (although didn't get my first cheque until the second ones were issued due to late registration).

    Now I just went down to collect my first one fo this academic year and was told that it wasn't in the the bunch and that "it might be in the second round next time".

    I don't know why it wouldn't be in and am worried that something happened whereby they only gave me one year... I am prepared to wait til the second ones come out but am worried that if there is a problem by that time it will be too late to do anything about it.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    are you doing a full time course? and what county council are u with - some havent sent out their maintenance cheques yet so thats why - but most are aiming to have them out to colleges by end of Oct - I hear Sligo co co wont be giving them out till Jan - so it depends on individual co co

    Im doing a masters n didnt get my first maintenance cheque yet either - Im westmeath coco - but I hear they have a press release coming out today bout when the cheques will be posted
