All i want is a facility of maybe €250 added to my account, just to help me at the end of the month with rent etc.

Going into the bank today to enquire (Bank of Ireland).

I remember a couple of year's ago I had my account with boi. Went up to an atm and it asked did I want a 500euro overdraft. I clicked yes and I could take the money straight out then.

Im not sure if this can be done anymore with current way the banks work.

Once you have a good track record in the bank it should be easily done.

if you have a good track record should be fine... most people have a preapproved overdraft limit that the branch can easily activate.
