Hey guys i recently won a package to the PCA 2010 on Stars and the only other irish guy I see registered so far is Cantona09 anybody know who this is????

yeah ive just been lookin around it seems the best deal i can get is just under 1k dollars but only problem is i'd be arriving at half 9 at night and i dunno if i can check in at that time???

I played this in 2008. Best flights i could get at the time were with Continental. I spent a few days in New York on the way over though

Hi Brady - yeah I won a package to this as well.
I'm probably heading over on the 1st and coming home on the 14th or 15th and just paying for the extra days in the hotel but I haven't booked anything yet. Its a pretty cool place, I was there last year.

The best way to get there is to fly with Delta, one stopover in Atlanta, I think the flights are about $800/900 per person.

I arrived pretty late last year - I'd be pretty confident that you can check in that late.

congrats enjoy and run well.

I spent some time in New York then flew by Jet Blue airlines, there is plenty of easy easy cash games sit n gos sats etc. Don't charge anything to your room, its redic expensive, and try to enjoy the resort it's an incredible place. and tour the island also, it's too easy to get drawn into playing poker 24.7 but what a waste after travelling so far, I made a good profit on the cash that compensated me for an early cooler exit

For the tourny, all the big boys will be there but the place is also populated by pokerstars grinders and high fliers with egos to match, some of the biggest gob****e Ive ever met along with some really cool people.
In the 1st hour at my table, one guy raises a Q high flop with AQ, some dude reraises him, guy pushes, other goon folds showing KQ , like it was a big fold or something :rolleyes:. Big money to win so get some rest beforehand if you can.

Hey man i booked my flights 2 weeks ago through orbitz quite reasonable about 650e anyway to answer your question my email stated the accomadation would cover you from the 4th till the 12th the festival itself is running until the 14th but we're covered till the 12th you'll get an email in the next couple of days and they'll explain everything and give you a link to regonline also just a bit of advice make sure your passport name and your pokerstars account name are identical including middle name and all just to make sure
