does anyone know what ,if any, type of license is needed for a shop containing video poker and gambling machines?

also what type of planning is needed?

    cheers folks.

It will depend on the council area. Different councils have different rules. You will need to talk to the planning department in your local council - whether Balbriggan / Fingal / Dublin City.

I don't know if the actual premises need to be licenced.

Gaming machines have an annual excise charge.
