Hey People: My daughter would like to be a radio personality when she grows up. She is now 15 and a sophmore in High school. I decided to get her an online radio show for Christmas. I have found the site Live365.com but I would also like to get her some equipment such as a mixer and microphone for a PC computer that runs on Vista. Now I read some of these threads but of course they were very technical.

Would you please in the simplelist way tell me what all I should do to help make this experiece for her positive and educational.

What equipment should I buy? Keep in mind I don't want to break the bank.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

A good Headset is all that is needed, everything else can be done with software, the mixing, editing etc...You might want a two Monitor setup, since it will be required to switch things around very fast. (Depending on how professional you/she wants to be).

I don't have any particular software titles in mind but a quick search should help...
