Selling on eBay from Ireland

First time seller on eBay and I can't seem to get my seller account set up. When it goes to the validation section it won't accept an Irish phone number on .co.uk and when I tried .ie it defaulted to co.uk again. Very frustrating so I must be doing something wrong!

Anyone have similar experience and know how to get around it?

I put 00353 and then my phone number (incl the local area code).

example of a Dublin phone number:

    00353 1 123 4567

The single "1" is the area code for Dublin as you leave out the first "0"

If you included the "0" it'd look like this:

    00353 01 123 4567

But with the "0" added in, it won't work outside of Ireland.

Instead of 00353 you could try +353, I don't know if it (the "+") would work though.

    Hope this helps.
