Problem with 6month old Mondeo

    evening all,

    I'm having a little problem with my 1.8 Tdci Mondeo and wondering if anyone can shed some light.
    I'm a heavy milage driver and booked my car in for it's first service for next friday.
    Within the hour of booking the service the car has started to sound really crap, which was a bit weird as had been perfect up to that.I don't really know anything about the way diesel engines work, it seems like its jumping and jerking a little at about 2000rpm and at slow speeds. On top of that it's making a different noise while idling , sounds clunky and with revs it's sounds clunky and whirry. power seems fine.
    It's a fleet car so I will get it sorted but was wondering if it sounds familiar to anyone and if I could/should drive to the garage tomorrow.
