Is anybody else having problems with Flash Player? eg crashing Safari and Firefox?
For me it seems to have happened with the last FP update. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
I have only noticed that the link for downloading the update doesn't seem to link to the update?
Is there any other place to download FP or any suggestions??

I'd like to resurrect this guys query actually. Have the same problem on my own mac, flash has been problematic on safari/ff from the outset.

Mac seems to have had some consistent problems with adobe flash in recent years, is there any fix for this or is it just a long-term annoyance set to continue?

Mine's crashing the odd time. I ran an update as soon as I installed 10.6 as the version that shipped with 10.6 was vulnerable.

If you haven't ran an update, do so. The new updated flash was installed with 10.6.1.

However, flash is just nasty when you get down to it anyways! Always makes my fans race!

Try using click to flash http://rentzsch.github.com/clicktoflash/ it allows you to play just what you want to see, with the added bonus of being able to save videos and such from the likes of youtube.
