Found a very interesting book recently about an ex Microsoft employee
who left redmond after 11 years. He has written a somewhat controversial
book heralding OSS/Free software as the eventual successor to existing
    large scale closed source models.

You can get it here as a free download in pdf format, or just get the book
from the likes of amazon. Not something you will just flick through:)

Read this a few weeks ago as well. Interesting book. Some good stuff in there.

But, there was an awful lot of fluff as well. I think the book could have been written in 200 pages rather than 300. What was all that crap about space exploration at the end?? I would also have liked if he cited more of his sources. Some of his facts seemed to be plucked out of the air.

Would advise people to read it though. But, just stop around page 220 :) .
