Poor quality Renault carpet-mats?

    Bought a new Laguna III in March '08 and it came with the executive carpet-mats. 14,00km later the drivers mat has a hole right through it. Renault say no free replacement:mad: Do y'all reckon this is good serviceability..'cos I don't!
    A new set costs €111 here and £55 in the North...ripoff IRL still alive and well despite the recession.

    Carpet mats in my Meg still like new after 40,000km, even driver side. Don't know if they're the same as yours though .. short loop pile on rubber backing?

    Ok, I'm def not a renault fan but its carpets ffs!

    Again, are you driving with heels? Otherwise if the dealer was any good they'd replace them. 14k is a joke

    *Executive carpet mats* is Renault's terminology, not mine:)
    I suppose it distinguishes them from the other two variants.
