Should be a great days racing anyone any fancies for the meeting?

Chabal is all the rage in the Dewhurst and Bolger going for a 4-timer! Be interesting to see how Steinbeck runs ad he has been highly thought of by Ballydoyle and could be anything. Think Dick Turpin could go well at a decent price too got no sort of a run in France on its last run.

    1.Chabal
    2. Steinbeck
    3.Dick Turpin

    The Champion Stakes
Its all about Fame and Glory although he's done nothing wrong i just think he's had a few tough races this season and it's a bit soon after the Arc for me to be backing him at those odds! Mawatheeq is the one i'll be backing. Tregoning's horses are hitting form the backend of the season and this lad looks a decent horse with Richard Hills riding a winner nearly everyday he's got to have a chance. Throw in a couple of decent French horses( Never on Sunday and Alpine Rose) and Oaks winner in Sariska and some multiple group winners it's sure to be a good race.

    1. Mawatheeq
    2. Never On Sunday
    3. Fame and Glory

    Cesarewitch.
Darley Sun looks good to me tbh his last run was a cracker and a repeat i feel will see him win but with so many horses its gotta be an each way steal for a few of these. I'd go for Bahrain Storm with the up and coming Gary Carroll on board and hopefully it will run into a place along with Viper and Callisto Moon.

    1. Darley Sun
    2. Bahrain Storm
    3. Viper
    4. Callisto Moon.

Enjoy the days racing it should be good it's only an opinion people so don't be too harsh when none of theses are even placed!:o:D

    Dewhurst

Theres a few in here that could win it. I have to oppose Bolgers runner here simply due to the fact that he has only run on bad Irish ground.
Of the rest I would consider Buzzword, Silver Grecian, Xtension and probably Steinbeck - though all I know about him is hee cost a bomb and beat
Gold Bubbles in a maiden and he's gone backwards. I will have a few quid on Buzzword e/w with him never out of the frame and 18/1 best odds.
    Very Difficult.

    1. Silver Grecian
    2. Steinbeck
    3. Buzzword

    Champion Stakes

There's no way I'm betting in this race. There seems to be no angle that worth risking money on.
Looking at the form, I have to lean towards Sariska. She's got the speed, she's been talked up by connections,
last run should be left because she had excuses and still only 3/4l off Dar Re Mi, 5th in the Arc. Shes won on GF so ground is
over stated. Fame and Glory is obviously the danger if he can bounce back from the Arc for which I dont know the reasons for the poor run.
Each-way chance is Alpine Rose with lots of runs over the distance and ground.

    1. Sariska
    2. Fame and Glory
    3. Alpine Rose

    Cesarewitch

Not enough time! High draw and jumpers for me. Darlley Sun should obviously feature. 1pt win on Truckers and Viper.

    1. Truckers Delight
    2. Viper
    3. Darley Sun
    4. Fair Along

Fame and Glory is presenting a very difficult situation this year. How good is he?

Hard to know. I'm still not sure even what his best distance is :)

He's probably a little better than his last 2 runs without being the potential superstar he appeared in his two Derbys.

One of those 'in the mix' horses, quite likely to be there or thereabouts, a potential winner of any Group 1.

He is probably never going to be a betting proposition anyway, looks like the type who is always going to be a lot shorter in the market than a rational assessment would suggest. Though thats a useful type to have in any race as it makes the (ew) market for the rest.
