Look Frames

Hi

Am thinking of upgrading from Aluminium to carbon and am considering a Look 585 (this is a legacy of my school boy racing days where I wanted a Look frame).

Does anyone have a Look framed bike and if so would they recommend one?

There also seems to be a limited number of stockists here (think Cyclesupserstore are the biggest in Dublin), any advice on where to get the best deals would be appreciated.

595bora.JPGhave a 595 fantastic machine , super ride , overall very happy with it have it 2 and half years, but, there has to be a but , developed a short hair line crack in the seat post about a month ago , so its gone back to the factory , they have told me they are going to repair it and respray it ,ill let ya know in what condition its in when i get it back should have it in the nxt week ,

Eagle also has or had a very nice Look. Very nice frames, full gas' one being a fine example.

I find roadbikereview.com quite useful for this sort of research, especially the "weaknesses" section.

The 585 gets loads of 5 stars there.

Like you i also got back into cycling after my schoolboy racing days and wanted a Look bike, due to budget i got a 555 which i must say is excellent, there is nothing i can find fault with. Je James cycles in the Uk has some good deals on look frames and bikes
