Ok I know Ill get shotdown by the safety razor crew but here goes! :D

Whats are these things like? Can you get a close shave with one? For any advocates out there, how much would you have to spend on a good one?

TBH I bought an expensive one a few years ago it cost over 200 euro and all that I can say about it is that I wasted my money, I only ever used it when I didn't have time for a proper shave

I got one for Christmas a few years back, prob cost my parents 80-100, no where near a close shave and gave me awful razor burn.

It's a shame really as would have loved to be able to have a quick shave at the time, this was years before I even knew what a safety razor was.

Perhaps the best electric razor would be the ones that can be used for a wet shave?

I've just today decided to use it to shave my head, it's a lot closer than a traditional hair trimmers...

i found that no matter what i spent on one, i always got the same outcome... shaving rashes! even the ones that had the balm that would moisturize your skin as it went

however, i now use a stubble trimmer by babyliss i think - the one with the adjustable hair length thingy and its sooooo much better:cool:
