    ok girls,

I am having a serious issues with finding a good pair of jeans.
Every pair i pick up, has 1/2/3% elasticine which means they become loose after an hours wear.

I like my jeans to be a little bootleg, real fitting, and i hate skinnys..(they just dont work for me).

Does anyone else have this problem?? Or am i just looking in all the wrong places?
I've tried topshop, awear, river island & alas no success.
    Im a size 6/8.
I guess im wondering if anyone has found that 'perfect pair'?

Have you gone down the 'designer' jeans route?

I got fed up with less than perfect pairs and invested in a pair of 'citizens of humanity' a while back. I love them and they've justified their cost as I wear them loads. They're my only pair of jeans now. Might be worth trying on some in BT or BT2 and see how you get on.

I was trying to avoid the designer route but it is looking like its my only hope.
    Ill investigate that!
    Thanks =)

    I HATE JEANS SHOPPING.

Why WHY WHHHY can't they just make a 34 waisted pair of jeans with a wide thigh. Why does it appear that every single pair of 34w jeans are designed solely for men who have legs so skinny they can barely support their own bodyweight. I must have tried on 5 bajillion pairs of jeans yesterday. I HATE THEM....

    sigh....

Have you tried Monsoon? My best jeans ever come from there. They are pretty much exactly as you describe, no elasticity, tight-ish around the hips, straight-ish leg with slight bootcut.

I swear by Tommy Hilfiger jeans. They're pricey but they really really last and they keep their shape and size. iirc, they do all sizes in most lengths (ie, you can get 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and so on instead of just 26, 28, 30 in the different lengths)

There's usually some sort of sale on somewhere every few weeks too so you can usually pick them up at about 70 - 80 euro a pop. They're my very dependable perfect fit, very comfy bootcut mid blue denim jeans! I've had one particular pair oooh about 18 months now, wash them at least once a week and they still fit great and look great still.

Another good thing is they do plenty of styles so if you like really low rise or quite high rise waists they have them....

It's good to know im not the only on frustrated with it. The worst days i've ever had involve trying a million pairs of jeans & not even coming close to finding a decent pair. It's really depressing!

Don't dismiss this straight away, but Tesco sometimes have surprisingly good jeans! The Tesco in Maynooth has some nice ones sometimes. Also, don't know if you've been to Next on your hunt? Awear's jeans have gone really downhill over the last few years. Bring back Nope/Susst!!

yes! whatever happened to nope & susst?!

pepe jeans are brilliant. you can get them on asos. they are the best jeans ever and fit really really well.i had exactly the same problem and 20 pairs of jeans later which all sit in my wardrobe hardly worn,(including miss sixty, diesel, killah) ive finally found a brand of jeans that i love. Cant recommend them enough. I will only buy pepe from now on.

I swear by them as well. They're really worth investing in as they will last for ages shape and colour wise. It's way better to spend €100 on a pair or really good quality jeans than on 2/3 pairs of poorer quality. You can't go wrong with Tommy:)
