Service schedule confusion

I've got a 2007 Vauxhall Corsa, just gone over 9000 miles.

I'm a bit confused about servicing - it was done at 12 months (July 2008) and the dealer stamped the book again when I bought it in June 2009 (at 4800 miles).

I'm thinking I can ignore the 10,000 mile service as it's been done so recently, and that the next one will be due in June 2010 (when I'll need to get it MOT'd too).

    Does this sound about right?

Yes normally the dealer will write a date or miles whichever comes sooner, so in your case it was probably June 2010 or 14800 miles (10,000+4800) whichever comes sooner that should have been written in the service book.
