Wind Turbine from USA

I have been looking around for a decent wind turbine for a while now and I saw this one a few days ago:

    http://www.evolvegreen.ca/catalog/item/6319999/7367779.htm

The price includes delivery to Dublin Port but I'm sure customs will sting you if at all possible. But with the dollar exchange rate the way it is currently, it works out fairly good value.

Would be delighted to hear your views

I'm sure you can get this turbine a lot cheaper from its Chinese Manufacturer

Their grid tie inverter won't be approved in Ireland, so don't bother with that bit. If you want an EN50438 inverter you can get an Aurora one here

However, I have to say that I have had three different Chinese turbines and worked with a few more and I woudn't recommend them for Irish wind conditions. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

For self-install, we offer a similar turbine but designed for Irish weather conditions. It will set you back about €9K plus VAT for the hardware.
