I am thinking of buying one but am wondering if it's value for money. I'm not a techie so I'm loooking for the best perfoming 416 "out of the box".

The blowback is nice feature but not something I'm hung up on, but I do HATE PEQ battery boxes so over to you, can I do better for the money (or less money)?

Good gun, well made, interesting system...

Do you want the gun? then its worth €380 euro...

its worth every cent, my fav gun in my collection by far. the range and accuracy is top notch. the g&g one actually houses the batteries in the foregrip, a nunchuck style. but any airsoft store for a fee will rewire it back to a stock suck as a crane stock or a 417 stock. the blowback itself doest cause an kick but does make a satisfying sound. you can never lose with g&g.

If you've never had an aeg with blowback before I'd suggest trying out an AEG that has it for a skirmish. Some people love it, some hate it. I find on some models it looks great but can be quite annoying to actually live with.

As for G&G, they're usually great quality build. I've 2 G&G m4's, one of them is over a year old by now and I've never had a problem with either.

I've heard good things said about the SRC 416, and I know there's a dboys/kalash/?? 416 that doesnt have have the PEQ box (batterry goes in the butt stock) which also aint too shabby.

If I had the money I'd go with the G&G myself, but I'm sure others who have that or diff versions will comment and give you a better idea :)

my top tech 416 is probably the best thing i ever bought.

oh and if you dont want to rewire it...

i got two of them and they work a treat.

I have one and love it. i do think the blowback is more of a gimmick but accuracy, reliability and quality...it is a great aeg..IMHO. Just remember they dont do real logos...

i do think what firekitten has said is true...its worth it if you feel its worth it. i guess what i can say is if i lost mine i would rebuy...

    Obviously, I'm biased, but....

As you can imagine, I've owned a lot of rifles. I only use my Top Tech 416 nowadays though. Far and away the best rifle I've owned. Solid, heavy, reliable.

Same here, I love mine. It was enough to even make me sell my VFC. :)

I love the noise it makes. it doesn't sound like the skeleton having a secksi time in a biscuit tin sort of noise you get with typical electrics. :)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention - I run a 7.2v lipo in the foregrip of mine...fits a treat, and its roughly equivalent to 9.6v nimh, so no extra wear and tear to speak of.

Although....there is one negative I can think of. Removing and replacing the foregrip to insert the battery is a pain in the proverbials, especially if you're under pressure.

TBH I prefer to buy locally and intend to with this purchase, but I thought i'd check it out anyway.

Just got an email from Gunfire (I assume it's the one you meant, they are in Poland?) saying they are out of stock but not confirming any price.

Actually they did have some, but they were sold out in less than an hour. Not suprised though, released them in their shops before the website. They were selling off stock that was just sitting in their warehouse gathering dust. They're selling some classic army models cheaper too. Mainly Ak's. Warranty offered was only 6 months though.

That was the wholesale price, and as Rhino said, it was a clearance price.

Gunfire are one of my suppliers, and I get regular updates on their specials.
You wont get a Top Tech 416 brand new for the kind of money you're talking about anywhere, end of story.

some people certainly take things personaly 3 callled bs then confirmation from another source then still call bs

Welcome, sorry - but we simply ran out of it. No more in stock. Pozdrawiam, Specjalista ds. Obsługi KlientaMarek Jarosgunfire.pl

well they were available even if it was a short period they were still being sold for well short of 380e fact to the general public ,

What do you expect ? You swan in to this thread and

a)make a ludicrous statement about the guns not being worth €380, when they obviously are

b)imply they're always available "for over 100 euro less", and conveniently forget to mention it was a special available in the Polish retail shops, and not on their website, AND that it was also their wholesale price.

c)not giving specifics because you want to look all cool and knowledgable

    and most importantly

d)making it look like Eirsoft are hugely overcharging for a Top Tech gun thats worth every penny of the €380

So yes Gatling, I do take it personally. Deal with it. If you want to be a big guy and make controversial statements to get some effect, don't act surprised when you get the effect.

There's a lot more I could say, but honestly, I don't fancy taking a ban over you. As far as I'm concerned you just like to stir ****, and I'm enabling it by even responding to your BS.

Mervenut...sincere apologies for dragging this thread down to this...entirely my fault for responding.

Gatling, as we can now see your post wasn't very helpful. It stated ("not worth 380") that the item was overpriced and implied that it was freely available "at over 100euro less if you look around".

Well I (and anyone else who cared to) could have "looked around" from now till Christmas and never found it unless I was in a shop in Poland sometime recently during a 2 hour time period when they were sold at a wholesale price to clear. A great deal I have no doubt, but not really a helpful contribution to the discussion IMHO!

Gatling - Special offers do not count as 'getting it somewhere cheaper'. It's 'getting it somewhere cheaper for a very short period of time with limited stock'.

Do me a favour and don't mislead people like that in future. If you're talking about something that is a special offer, state that it is a special offer from the get go. Not doing so is extremely dishonest and as others have said, smacks of **** sturring.

Anyway, hope I have made my point. Don't want to hear anything else about this.

Back to helping the OP out.
