phew Im not great on this but I think you need to get a jailbroken 3.0 ipsw and install it using pwnage tool. Could be totally wrong though.

I am new to the whole Iphone modding thing, but I assume you cannot downgrade.

Why do you want to downgrade when you have the old baseband and the unlock? Does a certain app not work?
