Hi, going to Cork for the W/end of Nov 7th with my missus, we had a baby last year and this will be first w/end away so looking for a nice hotel in the City plus a fancy restaurant as well - money not a big issue as we are treating ourselves bigtime! Know Cork well enough have stayed in both Jurys, Clarion, Victoria before.
    Thanks in advance

As you have stayed in the clarion before, have you stayed in the penthouse there? Perhaps they will do a deal for a returning guest. its fab, on 2 levels, floor to ceiling windows etc.

I recommend the Kingsley, lovely hotel - touch of luxury - lovely restaurant and a lovely leisure centre with outdoor hot-tub!

There's nothing in the city that will come close to some options outside the city, most notably Ballymaloe House. You can stay there, eat delicious food, and sometimes be entertained by world famous singers musicians in the living room after your dinner.

Hayfield Manor is lovely to stay, so it the Kingsley. Greens is lovely for food and so is Issacs. Ecos in Douglas is lovely as well.
