Non piano-player: Need to learn one song on piano.

    Hey Guys,

    So I'm a non-piano player, but I want to learn the song Tom Trauberts Blues by Tom Waits on piano for next week. Heres a video of the song being performed by Tom Waits himself:

    Does anyone have any suggestions how I could do this if its possible at all? I'm willing to put in 6+ hours of practice over the weekend.

    I'm currently learning to read it for guitar. But I'm at a very basic level at the moment. Nothing that would be practically useful.

    You could try learn it I guess but I'm not sure if you'd get very far. If it was that easy we'd all be learning it overnight. :p
