I'm a guy of 32. I go out regularly and if I see a girl checking me out I just freeze. I just cannot make the next move. I generally look away and probably give the impression I am not interested. If a girl comes over and starts chatting to me I'm usually OK and can hold a conversation. Its really getting to me at the moment as I have had very limited luck with women in the past 6 months or so. I know I am missing out on meeting someone really nice because I don't have the balls to make a move!

Had that problem for years. It's surprisingly to get over it. Luckily I had a mentor who I spilled my guts out to. He was a bit of a Don Juan so I kind of asked him for help getting my head together. He helped get me out of the rut. Scored a few nice girls since and now have a really nice GF.
You can get over it fairly easily, with a little bit of effort.

    Hi there OP

I really feel for you It's not easy for men sometimes to chat up women,
don't stress yourself out too much with it, tbh not sure if pubs and clubs are the best way to meet people nowadays, have you tried online dating?
that way you get to know the person and have stuff to talk about if you agree to meet for a date?? Its not for everyone but it might help you get
some confidence and back out there..

By the way I know some girls who love shy guys so don't worry about it! :)

    Take care
