Not sure if this has been posted before but this site will give you a local contact numbes to contact companies, instead of one of the above prefixes. Handy if you have a phone package with free minutes included in your bundle.

Yes, in Cork I think, but even if we could get their uk pstn numbers it would be cheaper than 0818

If you read the comments you'll see it no longer works. Sky keep getting wind of it and changing the geographical number.

    Thanks for the link OP.

Regarding Sky, it's nearly impossible to keep track of an alternative number for them.

Since they make money every time someone calls their 0818 number, its in their interest that any time a number becomes available that they deactivate it as soon as possible.

Just wondering why would anyone be calling Sky (or Setanta for that matter) on a regular basis?

In the case of Setanta - to cancel!!!

They're unreal. Had made 4 attempts this afternoon but i don't have all day to be waiting round the phone when theres work to be done! The automated spiel as all the info on how you can use their website to subscribe but nothing about cancelling ...theres a surprise.

    a) Zombie bump
    and
    b) Did you even look at the site in the OP, it has a number for " An Post Savings & Investments 1850305060 – Call Instead 017057200"

The 1850305060 number is still the valid 1850 so the geographical one might be too?
