    Hey Guys

Just wondering. I am thinking of buying a BMW 325M Sport BMW, 2001.

It currently has red leather interior, and side handling is red on the inside of the doors. Just wondering if I wanted to change this to beige how would I so this and at minimal cost!

    All the best

Just buy a car with a beige interior. Much less hassle, and cheaper.

red interior is the dogs bollocks on bmw's. you'd be crazy to change it, source another car.

btw you got a link to the 325? i love fapping drooling over 325's

You'd have the whole interior swapped in two hours max. You should be able to sell the red interior easily enough. Not a fan of the red leather myself.

Not a fan of the red either - Marmite really - either ya love it, or hate it - but should be easy enough to sell on!!

Not alot wrong with the red leather if you are into it. I wouldnt bother changing it as its different to say the least.

A leather specialist can just change the colour (its only dye after all), it's not that big of a job if the seats are out of the car - would probably cost the same as buying a second hand beige interior though.

    I like the red.

Red leather is the mutts nutts imo.

I'm sure if you looked for a swap on one of the BMW fourums somebody out there would bite your hand off

Means good. It's a polite way of saying the 'dogs b****x'

The red leather is savage. The rest of the car looks a bit tacky though to be honest with the M6 replicas...

True, the car the OP is looking at is a saloon - however it was never stated it had to be a saloon - I checked before posting what I'd have! Maybe they are only looking at that car because it was considered good value, but may prefer a coupé!
So I thought I'd stick up what Id have, if I was a 23 year old looking at a 3 series!
Perhaps the OP does have circumstances that require more doors! If that turns out to be the case,..... meh! ;)

...red leather is a ++ imho.

So few opt for it new, it's v. hard to source, used.

The red leather is extremely rare.

If you absolutely want to get rid of it, I'd say there's no issue finding somebody on the bmw-forums in IRL and UK, that will swap with you.

Agreed. The car would use a lot of value as it wouldn't be quite as unique and who wants the boring grey or beige colors anyhow :)

If you're stuck in traffic all day, you'll get about 340 miles per tank. If you do a good bit of distance/motorway driving you should get at leats 450 miles between fills.

That leather is very, very red - I expected it to be more maroon when I opened the thread. I'd still take it though. I wouldn't say that beige is always boring - it's all about the colour of the car, the model and the trim. There's a beaut of an M3 for sale in a purple colour with a champagne interior that looks absolutely stunning.

Much cleaner looking car, nicer colour.
The original car posted, the saloon wasn't an MSport, and had gaudy rep alloys... Plus, it's the saloon model - generally fetches far less than the coupe, so 6,500 is pretty fetching IMO.
I'd keep looking - there is value to be had, I bought my '02 325ci Msport for 6,500 with a FBMWSH and low miles.
Fuel economy isn't bad - I'm getting 27mpg combined, with a heavy right foot.
