I am selling my car to a friend of a friend but have absolutely no idea what a fair price is. On Carzone the prices range from 1200 - 5000 so no help there.

Any help from someone in the trade industry would be most welcome.

    Peugeot 206
    2001
    1.1L Petrol
    3 door
    65K
    CD Player
    Bluetooth car kit
    NCT 03/11
    Tax 12/09

    No Electric windows
    Good condition.

Looking to sell quickly, just want a fair price for all involved.

Apologies if this is outside forum ettiquette. It's not an ad as I already have someone to sell it to, just don't know how much to ask for.

    Thanks guys.

I was hoping to hear a bit higher than that considering how much I paid for it. But I suppose that was 3 years ago, and it was a different time.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

These are popular cars though and the NCT is long and a bit of tax left too. If it is very clean, good tyres, everything working, and had the timing belt done on time, I'd say €2k is a fair price. I'd accept €1.8k if they try to negotiate.

The timing belt on the 206 is 85k. I brought it in to my mechanic for a service before the nct and he said it didn't need it. He showed me the manual where it said that.

It's in very nice condition. I may go with the 2k and see where that leads.
