I assume you've checked Delcan's blog & the Micks blog he runs with a bunch of other Irish artists. If you haven't already check Bob Byrne's website. Also the IGI blog Samp.ie. Phil Barrett, Cathal Duggan, Alan Nolan, Paddy Lynch, Paddy Brown, BrenB, Chris Judge, Barry Reynolds, Tomm More, Paul Young, Maeve Clancy, Ale Mercado [not irish but living and working here]....I'm spelling names wrong now so I'll stop but theres plenty of links to Irish comics and webcomics in the stickies and also the Irish comics wiki Some good stuff coming out both in the work for hire field and the self published field. Webcomics were going well but now seem to have dipped a little, only a handful seem to be updating regularly at the moment.

There's a good bit of it, but rather than try and have individual posters describe it I would suggest checking out the Irish Comics Wiki maintained by Paddy Brown.

(Declan and a few other prominent Irish comic artists/illustrators/cartoonists/whatever-the-term-du-jour-is also run a sketchblog at Eclectic Micks, which might be of interest as well).

Not sure if people are interested but the Electic Micks guys are doing a signing in Forbidden Planet
Saturday, 14 November 2009 round 3pm I think. They've got a book of their first X amount of sketches, looks pretty cool actually.
